Kill the Killer Whale!

I really don't understand a lot of what happens in this world. But sometimes the insanity takes on a whole new level. Take for instance the tragedy that occurred at Sea World last week. Where one of the Orca's killed one of the trainers. As I understand it now, Sea World has ordered all trainers not to be in the water with the other Killer whales, well that makes since I guess. And the Killer in question, is quarantined until they re-admit her back into the show.

Now this is the same Killer Whale that has killed three trainers through out her life. The latest,

Dawn Brancheau of Sea World Orlando.

Three people have died, now I know an argument can be made that it is a wild animal and it should not be in captivity. But she is, and has been for over twenty years. What I don't understand is why this killer whale is still alive!

had this been a person who committed this crime, there would have been an outcry to execute them, or at the very least life in prison for the crime, and after the third offense, lethal injection. Yet the Orca lives. I am at a loss. Sea World is going to keep this animal alive, and rehabilitate it back into the show, what a disservice to the lives lost to this animal. Are not the lives of the humans more valuable than that of a freak show whale? Where are the values?

According to one source, "Officials have said that the male killer whale will return, but they are not sure in what capacity." What capacity, let me give you some suggestions. Lethal injection! followed by Sushi, whale burgers, rotting flesh, buzzard food. Use it to feed the rest of the animals there, haul it out to sea and let it decompose naturally, or let it rot in the pool where Ms. Brancheau lost her life.
I don't care. Obviously the management at Sea World, cares more about their investment in their animals than they do in the investment in their trainers. I wish all of the trainers would walk out, or protest or do something to support the life of Ms. Brancheau. Three lives are two too many. This animal deserves to die or cast out to sea to fend for itself. Enough is enough.

To the family of Ms. Brancheau, my heart felt sympathy goes out to you for your loss. I hope the management of Sea World gets the message and ends the life of this animal so no others are killed for an opportunity to make some more money in their show.
